BA locked in dogfight for riches over Atlantic.

Rejuvenated US airlines and low-cost entrants have their sights set on the British flag carrier’s most profitable market.

“The US is now more expensive than elsewhere,” said AMG’s Chris Tarry. “Inflation impacts discretionary income and the spending power of the pound outside the UK. We are already seeing people book later.”
