🌍AMG proudly attended the  World Travel Market London 2023 – the world’s most influential travel & tourism event held at London’s Excel – with 43,727 attendees – it was an incredibly intensive series of days filled with meetings, seminars and events.

 

Discover, Elevate and Innovate –  changing traveller trends, sustainability and Responsible Tourism in the spotlight as travel volumes return to pre-pandemic levels, key themes, from tech to alternative power

Back to back meetings, networking, and bumping into familiar faces whilst crossing continents – the vibe at #WTMLDN was loud and strong. It was wonderful to meet up with so many colleagues old and new from around the world. AMG was able to meet with Ministers’, members of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC),  airlines, travel players old and new across the industry, and a delight to finally meet many of The Travel Foundation team in person.

The buzz at WTM reflected the confidence and optimism in the aviation, travel and tourism sector. Despite the challenges the industry continues to face, there was a very positive mood and you could sense the vibrancy.

AMG was delighted to offer Jessica Kosky the opportunity to shadow on day 1 – Jessica is a keen final year Uni student ready to make her mark on sustainable aviation.

The event wrapped up with keynote speaker TV documentary maker Louis Theroux reflecting on the value of cultural interactions around the world.
